The cabin was perfect for us. We had a wonderful time exploring the area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the river and the wildlife. It was very relaxing and peaceful.

Unfortunately we had to cut a stay by a day due to Hurricane Helene. There was so much rain that the river started to rise. Our host was very concerned about us. She brought was supplies in case the power went out which was very thoughtful. She informed us of what she had heard about the weather. She offered to let us move to a different cabin for the night if we wanted. We decided to head home as we knew we would be encountering more rain going back to Georgia.

We were very satisfied with our cabin and hosts and would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.
