Great place but getting there and inside is tricky
5/5 We really enjoyed the home. It was very clean and well appointed. Out only issue was that we arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight and the place was very hard to find. Google maps is misleading and the instructions weren’t clear (at least to us). When we found the place, it took 20 minutes to get the lock box open so we could get inside, warm up and go to bed.

Connestee Falls was fantastic
5/5 My family and I really enjoyed the rental home. It was clean and well-maintained. A fat racoon appeared a midnight on day 4 on the deck and pilfered some of the trash. He was harmless and waddled off when we tapped on the door. The view was great. The steepness of the roads and driveway take some getting used to, but nothing dangerous. There are miles of quiet, secluded trails jin the Amakola trail system ust down the street in the community, and the trail along Carson Creek near Connestee Falls is one of the best I've ever taken. That trailhead is only a 2-minute drive from the house. We plan to come back some day.
