• Perfect place for graduation weekend!

  We booked this house for Appalachian State’s spring graduation. It was the perfect location for our family. Close to everything and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the home was well laid out. Host was great to deal with. Very attentive. We would definitely recommend!

  We enjoyed our stay, this home was spacious for our group. Beds were comfy, having a washer/dryer was a plus (It did need to be cleaned) There was a coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot and just about everything you’ll need to cook, seasons, pots, cups and plates and plenty of utensils. The 2 fridges were also a plus. Both showers had good pressure and stayed hot. It was unfortunately a bit dirty all throughout the home, we had to clean before we settled in. We also had issues with the smoke detector going off constantly even while making toast in the toaster.. I believe the placement of the detector should be moved. We also did have to improvise and put a blanket over the front door as there were no shades or curtains for privacy and also no screens on the windows to safety enjoy a cool breeze. The hot tub was also nasty, would’ve been nice to take a dip but it was raining and no covering. With a few upgrades and a good clean we would definitely stay again!

As mentioned during our communication, our cleaning team reported that the home and hot tub were cleaned to their usual standards, including testing the water, adding chlorine tabs, and refreshing it with additional clean water before your arrival. However, it appears that some details were overlooked this time. They have consistently done a great job for our guests, and we’re hopeful this was an isolated incident. We’ve since reminded them to be more attentive and thorough moving forward. You also shared helpful suggestions for improvement, and we’re using the remainder of April to make upgrades that we hope will further enhance our guests’ experience. • Cozy with lots of rooms!

  We had a great stay at this cozy house! All the family enjoyed the hot tub and there was room for everyone in our party of 9 plus our doggy! We went to Boone for family weekend at App State which was a 13 minute drive!

  The house is old. The house was well stocked with what we need in the kitchen. It is close to town and was convenient.We had good time visiting our son and their new born.
