  • The Perfect Getaway

    This is our 2nd stay at this property and we have the best time. The home is cozy, organized, and spacious. The highlight for me is the deck with rockers, string lights and the babbling stream. The location is also perfect, as it is close to so many things we love to do in the area such as visit downtown Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, and Beech Mtn Ski Resort. We look forward to our next stay as I hope there will be many more!!!!

    Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Amy was a great host and very helpful when we had a question about local hikes. And we really appreciated the welcome basket of treats she left - so thoughtful.

    The house itself was perfect. Beautifully designed inside, and very clean and cozy, with everything you’ll need in terms of amenities…and the beds were so comfortable!

    With three porches and a lovely fire pit in the backyard, there were plenty of outside areas to enjoy the natural surroundings. The top porch in particular was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy our morning coffee. The location was excellent for our trips to Grandfather Mountain, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and the quaint little town of Banner Elk. It’s also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which has some of the most spectacular views we’ve seen for a long time.

    We’ll be back…highly recommended!
