Pros - Large kitchen with good selection of pots and pans and other cooking utensils. Nice outdoor gazebo and porch. Ping pong table in the garage. Comfortable large master bedroom bed. Nifty touch sensitive lamps in the master bedroom. One of the coolers in the garage came in handy for a day trip and cold groceries. Nearby groceries. Good phone service in this location.Cons - Only one small TV and it's in one of the bedrooms Slowish Internet - 5 or 6 Mbps on WIFI per speed tests. The step down from the master bedroom to the bathroom is dangerous at night when lights are off and there were no nightlights in that area. There is a lamp and an outlet kind of up high in that section but it would be nice to have a nightlight at the base of the steps to illuminate it and not be so bright as to make the bedroom bright.

This house appears much nicer in pictures than in person. The floor plan is a bit ‘unique’. Both bathrooms are near the front door. You have to walk through the living room to get to the bathroom that 2 of the bedrooms use. Also, the master has a very odd set of stairs in it. The bunk room is up another step and you have to walk through the laundry room to get to that room or you can get to it through the master. There are a few places where the flooring has been cut out but not replaced and 2 places where the carpet tacks were exposed. The furniture in the living room doesn’t really match and the coffee table was quite dinged up. The kitchen is very large and was well equipped! Beds were all very comfortable. The only way to get to the screened in patio was from the backyard. It’s attached to the garage but you can’t access it from the garage.
The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
-We understand that the layout of the home is not typical, and while it may not suit everyone’s preferences, we strive to make the house fully functional and comfortable for people who are exploring the natural beauty of Northwestern Montana. We certainly did not intend for the photos to be misleading. In fact, they don’t reflect several updates such as window treatments and closet doors added after the photos were taken. We’re sorry if it didn’t meet your expectations.
-We are aware of the carpet damage due to the popularity of the home and are planning to address it during the upcoming offseason.
-The living room furniture is chosen for comfort, but we’ll take your feedback into consideration for future updates.
-We're glad to hear you found the kitchen well-equipped and the beds comfortable!

This property was a really nice place to stay in for a recent visit to glacier National Park. It's only a 20-30-minute drive into the West entrance. It was super convenient, and we made it into the park every day of our trip. The house itself was very comfortable and had an amazingly equipped kitchen! The rooms are spacious enough and having the washer dryer was great after some muddy hikes. The backyard, garden and gazebo is gorgeous, and generally the location is quiet, peaceful, and convenient. Water pressure and hot water is great. There are some fun modern board games in the living room. The only small drawback is that the internet and Wi-Fi speed is slow - but maybe that's actually a nice excuse to disconnect!
This house turned out to be perfect for our extended family trip to Glacier NP. It was really easy to get there and the house was comfortable and quiet.
