  We had a great stay at Bay Creek!! The condo was great and had everything you could possibly need while on vacation! We loved using the bikes, playing pickleball and exploring the beach! Cape Charles and Bay Creek have become one of our new favorites and we cannot wait to come back!

  We had a nice stay at the house. The VRBO description did not state there is a basement, it did not say there is two bedrooms with twin beds. Overall it was comfortable, it worked for our group.

  Good overall. Basement was a little weird…..my kids wouldn’t sleep down there.

  When we brought the issue of the basement fan not working, the host offered to replace the batteries in the remote the next day. Replacing the batteries did not fix the issue. She offered to have someone come out to replace the fan but we decided to have this wait until after our stay was over. The toilet in the basement did not flush 1/2 of the time. The kids were looking forward to the trampoline and the swing set. Unfortunately both were in disrepair. The trampoline had no pads over the springs as they had rotted away in the sun, and the net was not attached so it was not safe to use. The swing set was falling apart, the slide was so shakey that even the fearless 5 year old said no thank you. The host had added large pieces for furniture, One in the hall way where people need to walk, and a large fousball table in the other hall way. The lack of outlets made it very hard to charge anything, so much so that some of the lamps were not even plugged in. The bedroom in the basement did not have an egress window. The home had a very sweet perfume smell that was very strong and we did not find pleasent. While our trip was great, the stay in this VRBO was very disappointing to both adults and both kids.

  - We offered to replace the basement fan and were ready to bring in a technician, but waited at your request until after checkout
  - The toilet issue was caused by a sump pump that failed during your stay—it’s since been taken care of by a plumber
  - We're sorry the outdoor play equipment didn’t meet expectations. The trampoline still has its safety net, and the swing set is secure, but we’ll double-check both for any needed updates
  - We’ve taken a look at the layout and outlets to make sure everything’s easy to navigate and use
