  Arrived and front door was wide open. My wife pulled the blanket back on the bed in the master bedroom and there was a dead bird lying on the bottom of the pillow bird dropping on the spreads in 2 rooms and on the floor. No one wanted to sleep in the master bedroom. We had a couple coming as a late arrival and they decided to stay home and come up the next day. They were afraid of bird flu. There are 3 of the smoke alarms missing. Just the base and wiring connectors on the ceiling. We called Anita she said she would be there at 9am to replace the spreads and clean the floor. (She came around 11am). All the pots and pans need to be replaced. They are all nonstick but all of the nonstick is missing. We had late arrival to bring 2 pots and a fry pan. The globe to cover the lights on the ceiling fan in master bedroom is missing. I inquired about a barbeque pit prior to arrival. Anita said she would come by and fill the propane tanks on the barbeque pit and the fire pit. Saturday afternoon I started to cook my burgers but the 2 tanks by the pit we empty. I then removed the one from the fire pit to get to use the barbeque pit. The bottom post on the on the back stairs is rotten. General cleaning and maintenance needed ETC..

• Great Location!

  Beautiful floor plan. The huge double porches were such a delight for star searching in the evenings. The kitchen had everything needed to cook up a special dinner. I would suggest the owners provide a different type of coffee pot. We love our coffee and were use to making large pots to drink. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were so large with up to date double showers. Large soaking tub. Our strongest suggestion to the owners would be to replace the sofa. We had four 60 yr olds and a 93yrs young. We could not get up from the sofa. We were stuck. Yes, we laughed so hard because we felt like Rollie Polies. A small chair or bench would help out in the bedroom when getting dressed. The place was clean but was in need of a deep clean for dust bunnies like in elevator and some of the base boards.in the house. We would definitely come back. The elevator was a big plus for us. We truly enjoyed our stay. We will be Back!
