The Blocks
4/5 We enjoyed the location and boat dock. The master bedroom was downstairs but the stairs didn’t have a railing which would have been safer. I was expecting a kayak and there wasn’t one. We did enjoy the paddle board. It would have been nice to have the weeds trimmed around the front steps. Overall we had a good vacation!

Lots of problems
2/5 The air conditioner didn’t work and the owner was aware of it before we are. It was fixed but first night the temp was 82 degrees. Ceiling fan didn’t work, electric sockets didn’t work and gfi was tripped. Electrician found melted wires in switch for ceiling fan. Windows with dry rot and wouldn’t close completely. Grill didn’t work and we had to clean it ourselves to get it to work. It was a deceptive listing and I don’t feel I should have been charged the full price. Makes me skeptical of vrbo.

Lots of problems
2/5 Air conditioning did not work and owner was aware of it prior to our arrival. Sent someone to fix it who indicated that the ac had never been programmed correctly for the house. So this had never worked right and owner knew, did nothing about it and continued to offer the house for rent. Temperature in house was 82 the first night. Ceiling fan didn’t work. Counter top electrical sockets didn’t work and gfi was tripped. Electrician found melted wires in switch for ceiling fan. Grill didn’t work. We had to clean the grill ourselves to get it to work. Windows in living room not completely shut and when we tried to shut them wood fell out of them from dry rot. TV remote was missing power button and wouldn’t work unless manipulated in a specific way, which we had to figure out for ourselves. I had to call property manager 3 of the 5 days we were there. It’s apparent the owner and likely the management company knew all of this prior to renting the house. It was mostly basic maintenance that wasn’t done. I feel ripped of and deceived. Partially ruined our family vacation. Not worth what I was charged and I think the electrical problem was a fire hazard.
