Everything was perfect! Thank you!
We stayed for 3 days. We hiked through the woods and spent a lot of time at the lake. The road to get to the house is very rocky. I don't think a regular car could make it. I am glad we rented a pick up truck. They house is small, but very nice and clean.

Details need to be more clear about the gravel road! We were in a truck, the car would not have made it down that road. The grounds outside needed to be mowed. The inside was nice. Very quiet place. I thought it was a little pricey. Over all we enjoyed.

Hi Elizabeth , thanks for your review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay at this house, but apologize you experienced some issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The gravel road is mentioned in the description and is smoothed out quarterly. Unfortunately, recent heavy rains have caused it to become more rutted. This has since been addressed.
-The grounds are mowed every two weeks, but the Missouri weather can impact the growth, especially with the recent amount of rainfall.
Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
The house was clean and well stocked. The fireplace area outside had not been cleaned. Charred wood pieces were all over the floor area in front of the fireplace and partially burned logs remained in the fireplace. The lawn had not been mowed making the use of the fire pit and swing unusable without getting chigger bites. The pond was also unusable as the dock was broken and one of the lawn chairs was in the pond. The road to the house was rough and in need of grading. Two of the steps to the loft were in need of repair. Overall we enjoyed our stay and again give credit to how clean the interior was and how well the house was stocked.
