Great for families and pets
4/5 The layout of the home and property, along with the fenced yard were great. For that reason I recommend it to families with kids and pets. We had a bumpy visit. We were never able to get the AC to turn on. We were told the home was on an energy management plan and that the AC would be limited at peak times, but we never saw the condenser running, and at night it was an uncomfortable 82 degrees. The bed in the 2nd bedroom had visibly dirty sheets. When we removed them to wash, we discovered a foam pad with holes in it on top of the mattress. The mattress itself was sunken and stained. The kitchen dining plates/cup/mugs are nice and in great condition, and the dining space is very pretty. If you plan to cook, be aware you may need to bring your own prep tools - for instance the measuring cup set was incomplete, and the cheese grater was missing its handle. Overall, it's a lovely home with a beautiful view, it's just missing a few touches that would make it an incredible vacation spot.

5/5 5/5 The apartment was beautiful. What you see is what you get. And the view was perfect. Waking up to seeing nothing but the ocean automatically brightened my day. They also had black out blinds incase you’re a person who prefers the darkness. Everything was walking distance with Walgreens right across the street.

Great MEA getaway
5/5 Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip.
The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park.
The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing.
Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend this home to friends.

Retreat in the woods
5/5 The property as just perfect for our family - it had everything we needed - we were very comfortable. Out family was myself (grandma) with daughter and her husband and their 4 children 0-6. My brother has a home across the lake and we spent our days there for swimming.
