• Cozy and Comfortable

  We had a nice family weekend with Great hikes and Nordic skiing very close by. It is also a wonderful place for star gazing. The house has comfortable beds with quality bedding and plenty of dishes and towels. Check out XC Ski Headquarters, Marl Lake for hiking, and Beechwood Cafe for breakfast.

• Inaccurate listing and sssslooooooww communication

  The house itself is actually pretty nice. A bit rundown on the outside; the main stoop is rotting some and there is some exterior wear; but the inside has been redone recently. New appliances, new carpet, countertops, comfortable bedding. My main issue was the house was listed as a 3BR/2BA home…which means there is a combination of 2 showers, or 1 tub and 1shower, or two tubs. Well, there was only ONE shower and a bathroom with a toilet and sink…that’s a HALF BATHROOM, not a full bathroom. This house came up under a specific search for 2+ bathrooms. It specifically says it has 2 bathrooms in its description. I emailed immediately after finding this out and did not receive any response, none. Communication was ok otherwise although I did not receive instructions to enter the house until we were 5 minutes away from the place. That was acceptable but we were told we would get instructions sooner. Just made for an anxious moment. The only other issue is the staircase. It seemed quite dangerous and has no safety rails.

  -We've confirmed that the pre-stay email was sent to you before your arrival, which included detailed check-in instructions and other information about the property. We encourage guests to check their email and spam folders; additionally, we are available 24/7 for any questions or concerns. We apologize for the delay in providing the code, due to spotty cell service the text message provided on your way to the stay was delayed. We have high standards of hospitality and always strive to be available for our guests
  -In regards to outdoor deficiencies, we sincerely apologize and it’s my priority to have it addressed, as well as the indoor safety rails
