Pleasant 40s home
5/5 Older home within walking distance to town, farmers market on Saturdays and Man Made Lake. Short driving distance to public beach on Lake Michigan. Quiet residence with 2 kitchens and room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Very dirty and Very rough shape. Caution
1/5 The home was never cleaned from the previous renter. The place was in shambles when we arrived. No clean sheets, no towels. House is dirty! Most plugs either don’t work or lamps don’t work. No direct tv box. Toilet upstairs is broken.2 beds are broken in the bedroom off the living room and has no light. Refrigerator upstairs is leaking water all over the floor. The cleaning lady arrived at 9pm on the first night and did the best she could with 10 people now sleeping in the house, she even said there’s not enough sheets for all the beds and not enough towels. The cleaning lady had to use 2 twin fitted sheets for the king bed upstairs and there was no top sheet. We ended up having to go buy our own sheets as they never did get us sheets that fit the beds.
We did leave a day early. Evolve the management company that over sees the property did give us a refund for 1 of the days and the cleaning fee. I am not one to bash on things like this in a review, but the property was in rough shape. We took pictures of what it looked like when we arrived but unfortunately there is no way to post them on here. We did send all the pictures to Evolve, and they supported all of our complaints and did the best they could.
