First Northern Getaway
5/5 My mother & and I decided to take our first weekend trip to Houghton Lake with our pets for Labor Day weekend. This place was perfect for us! The set up was great and they had everything we needed. The yard was huge & our dogs had so much room to explore. There was more than enough room for us, besides the bathroom being kind of small/tight, we still enjoyed our stay! Air conditioning was only a window unit which was fine because it wasn’t too hot (I don’t know if it would be enough for a scorching weekend) & there was no cable (listed as an amenity). The signal in the TV was constantly going in & out but once we logged into the streaming services, we were good to go! My mother & our 2 dogs made some lovely memories and I am so happy we chose this cottage to do it in! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Gorgeous getaway!
5/5 The property is so clean and so quiet. The neighborhood is perfect. Everything was just as described. Close to the lake as well as the downtown area. We are already planning a trip back in the fall to explore the nearby trails.

Cute cabin
4/5 The cabin was cute & well-stocked with essentials. Decorations are cute. Bathroom is tiny! Access to lake is a bit of a distance & no beach. The grassy area shown is not public.
