Preplanned trip before snow prediction. 2 couples have cottages in neighborhood but both were winterized so we decided to rent a house nearby. Rough travel going up but house was delightful. Clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was good. Easy entry. Would recommend. Plan on renting again.

This was a cute little cozy cabin. It did smell like smoke upon arrival. Also counters and stove was dirty. Other than that everything was accurate in listing.

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Would have given it 5 stars except a light wa out in the bathroom and by the side door making it hard to see the lock box code in the dark. Also, the coffee maker took forever to make a pot of coffee. Would recommend this place to stay.
My husband and I decided to forego camping and taking a long weekend to simply relax. We found this cabin in an area I spent a lot of time as a child. The area is mostly water activities or a drive to Hartwick Pines for hiking and a wonderful history of Michigan logging.
The cabin was clean, roomy and has a full kitchen. There is a musty smell that I think the use of a dehumidifier could reduce or eliminate. Didn't notice A/C but we didn't need it. We did use the heat one night and it was fine.
There is a small fenced area directly behind the house. Also a large side yard with a fire pit. The owner has several outdoor chairs and tables. It's a short walk to a boat dock but a small drive to a beach.
The cabin is in a small quiet but very nice neighborhood.
We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.
Accuracy of the listing was great. The house was appropriately stocked for a small family (3-4). Clean and affordable, world definitely return! Host was very responsive.
