  Very clean and well taken care of property. Exactly as described. Pictures onlisting are accurate and display all that you see when you enter the door. There was a small hiccup upon arrival during check-in... there was a misunderstanding/miscommunication regarding how to access the property via keyless entry. At how quickly the guest contact (Autum) and the property owner got us into the property (less than 5 minutes) I am sure they will fix this for the next guest. I would definitely stay here again. Do note, the pool is not heated (it was so hot it didn't matter.)

• Family Fun

  We had a fantastic experience at The Shore Thing! We were not sure what to expect since it was a last minute booking, but once we discovered the location, we could not beat it. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. The property itself had literally everything and appropriate in size not to overwhelm the studio.

  Despite being a small space, it was thoughtfully done to maximize use, fun, and relaxation. The colors and decor was very calming and beachy and there were ample toys, books, family games, and even a prefilled nostalgic video game console that our kids discovered and had set up within the first 5 minutes of checking in. They also provided 2 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards for families who aren’t choosy (their older items).

  It was a hike up the 3 flights (so pack lighter than we did), there is only a mini fridge so don’t go grocery shopping before getting in and deciding your priorities - we opted to eat out twice a day and save leftovers for small meals later and buy drinks for the fridge.

  It was unsettlingly hot when we arrived after three to four trips downstairs, but after leaving the AC on and going out to get dinner, when we arrived back it was practically cold 🥶 so never fear, we were legitimately scared cause it was sooo hot and humid when we arrived.

  The pool area was great and we used it near daily. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach (with small children), we were next door to a pretty good crab house (weak drinks though) and literally across the street from the Jolly Roger Amusement Complex with regular park, water park, mini golf, and race track. And walkable to every other amenity: quick mart, breakfast spots, liquor store, beach shops, and plenty of other food options. We only used our car on our last day to the boardwalk before we left OC.

  Great experience, great hosts, incredible location. This saved our summer vacation lull. Thanks guys, we plan to come back next year 🤗🦀☀️🏖️ but we won’t bring half as much!

• Loved our Mini Vacation

  Everything was as it was explained. The condo was clean and functioned well. Pool was nice and well kept. No noise from the neighboring condos. Walking distance to beach and several eating places.
