This vacation rental is conveniently located within walking distance of everything on your group's to-do list, from beaches and fishing to bars and restaurants. After a day of making oceanside memories, come home to rinse the sand off in the community's outdoor showers and meet back at your beachy base camp for a home-cooked meal in the full kitchen.

The condo layout and location are lovely. However, the unit was only "surface clean" upon our arrival. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, not rinsed or turned on. The beds (queen) and showers were still sandy. Stains dotted the carpets and all of the slipcovers. In the oven lay a dirty pan. The water and ice maker are not connected (no filtered water). The parking passes were missing. Closets were in disarray. A dirty WET mat was in the dryer. The dryer needed to be vacuumed out due to sand. The mats in the bathrooms were old/matted. The King bedside light did not work. The TV in the Queen bedroom was unusable (the remote was broken). One of the twin frames was not connected to the bed.
Not to mention that the floors were still SANDY....all over the place and trash/crumbs were under EVERY piece of furniture. Here's what we saw, an eggshell, a fingernail, an applesauce cap, dryer sheets, a Cheerio, etc....!!
I contacted the host. Her response was, "I appreciate all the feedback, thanks!" Not as expected.
Hi Elizabeth, we appreciate you sharing your detailed feedback, and after speaking with the homeowner, they wanted to address the concerns you raised:
- We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the condo’s spacious layout and location. However, we're sorry to hear that the cleanliness didn’t meet your expectations. The property is cleaned thoroughly between stays, but due to the quick turnaround time on check-in days, a deep clean isn’t always possible. Had you reached out when you arrived to let us know, instead of on the checkout date, the Guest Contact would have gladly addressed any issues, including re-cleaning the floors, replacing bath mats, and ensuring the dishwasher was run.
- Filtered water and an ice maker are not advertised in the listing, but the freezer is equipped with ice trays for guest use.
- We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the missing parking passes. Sometimes previous guests fail to return them, and while it can take a few days to receive replacements, parking without a pass typically isn’t an issue. The Guest Contact will now provide sticky notes with the unit number as a courtesy to ensure peace of mind.
- The Twin bed frame and King bedside light were inspected and found to be functioning correctly. If you needed assistance with turning on the light or with any other items, the Guest Contact would have been happy to assist.
- We regret that your interaction with the Guest Contact did not meet your expectations, as they are known for their prompt responses and willingness to assist.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
Loved the condo, it was very clean and stocked with extras. Lots of parking and in a good location for the beach and boardwalk. There were 4 of us celebrating a retirement and birthday. We love Ocean City, MD it's a great place to vacation.
