The home was perfect for a Christmas on the Cape with our son 19 year old son who is stationed nearby for the Coast Guard. We cooked, played games, and watched Christmas movies. We are so thankful for the wonderful house to do so. The only issue was parking was tight.

My friend and I loved our stay. The space is well appointed. There is no washer/dryer but otherwise we had everything we needed.
The pond location is beautiful and the views from the main floor of the cottage are panoramic 🤩.
I appreciated the quiet; the house is on a dead-end street so there's no through traffic. Though we were there in November, I imagine it's more lively in Summer.
Marie (our contact) was helpful and responsive.
Overall cute tiny house. Good size for 2 people would be tight with more than one couple because of only 1 bathroom. Shower is clearly only part of house not updated as it showed its age and some milidew buildup but the rest of house was clean and nice. My only other 2 complaints was that one of the bedrooms were marked on listing as two queens but the upstairs bed is clearly a full and downstairs is a king bed. Weird they were marked as queens. And then second, We slept upstairs so I can only speak to upstairs bed but it needs to be updated, mattress is hard. We did not sleep good at all. Also just as an aside, it is a huge stair walk up to the front door, would not be good for anyone with mobility issues. We did not bring our son on this trip but I would say if considering for small familiy would not be good for small children because of spiral staircase would be safety concern.

Adorable little cottage. Exactly as shown. The downstairs bedroom would be perfect for kids/ teens with its own TV and some privacy. The spiral staircase could be quite challenging for anyone with any kind of mobility issue, but the kids will love it. Quiet private neighborhood in the fall. It's probably more active in the summer with the beach and docks across the street, but in October we never even passed anybody on the street. Would definitely stay again.

The unit is absolutely amazing. The view is also stunning. I watched the sunrise and sunset almost everyday. Response from the host was equally immediate A+++.
However, the amount of stairs and complexity of the spiral staircase should have been mentioned. It was somewhat difficult for my mobililty issue and stamina. My husband had to carry our things alone because the stairs were just too much for me.
Likewise, there is no car port or private beach, just a spot, as indicated in the description.
Ultimately, the description was somewhat deceptive on some key points. I think that should be corrected for transparency.
I ABSOLUTELY WOULD STAY AGAIN THOUGH!!!
