  I loved staying here, the place was gorgeous & the perfect place for my family it was right in the middle of everything & everywhere we needed to be since we were there for my son's basketball tournament. Clean & comfy beds . My kids enjoyed that it was a historic home .

  First of all- when booking this property there were no previous reviews but we took a chance considering the host was a premiere host. After booking and before our trip there was the first review posted by a tenant and it had us afraid! Stated there was bugs in the bedding etc. I can confirm this is totally false. Plenty of toilet paper, towels, beds were all clean. Actually whole house was clean, easy to get into, good part of town, about a 13 min Uber ride to Bourbon St. Felt safe in the area even late at night. Only complaint is we had 3 girls and I would recommend more mirrors in the house. There is no central air, there is 2 ac units in the home. It did get a little warm and i can see this being a problem in the hot summer months. Also watch your parking, we are from a rural Texas area where parking isn’t a problem. My sister had a ticket on her window due to where her car was parked and it was even in the driveway so we are confused on why. Neighborhood was quiet no issues what so ever. Felt right at home. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

  Can’t post photo proof of bites. Checked in woke up next day spider bites or bedbugs all over everybody body reached out to the host and all they stated was “we do not have bugs” the host do not come out to check on nothing wasn’t even offered to be put in a new location or no refund. The elderly neighbors next door said they even reached out to the host because when they checked in the beds was broke and no towels and the host said they was coming and never showed up we paid too much money for some bs then left a list of chores to be done upon check out or additional fees will be imposed when we already paid an $150 cleaning fee upon booking we was not about to clean and wash it didn’t make since to pay $150 for cleaning fees upon check out and we had to do everything what was the point of the cleaning people getting $150. Only 2 rolls of tissue paper and 2 towels I guess we was suppose to constantly wash to reuse. The walls is paper thin. Location ok. Overall I will not be booking this property again when we paying so much money and the host don’t come out at all to fix nothing or restock but they tell you they are on the way.
