  There was so much space to spread around and the views of the lake were great. Good place to get away from it all.

• Amazing

  Let me say this house is amazing! From every room there is a view and every room has a balcony exit. The back balcony is so amazing. We did have some issues with bird poop but that is to be expected given it's outside.

  The master room and bathroom is gorgeous with huge walk in closet, walk in shower and soaker tub. The office is a small room outside master with a daybed and TV in it. The living room and kitchen are gorgeous. There are two room right off this kitchen, one with a queen size bed and one with two bunk bed sets that share a bathroom in the hallway. There is a second part of the house that looks like an apartment even though it's connected. It has a kitchenette, two bedrooms one with a queen bed and day bed in it and one with two twin beds in it. These rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is a washer and dryer closet. The downstairs patio is great for entertaining but the yard space is small and leads to the water. The game room is also downstairs with a kitchen fridge and TV. There is an outside restroom on the patio. This is an amazing house and we would love to go back. Be forewarned, the neighbors are a little uptight tho and riding a 4 wheeler and golf cart is allowed but you may have the cops called if they don't like it.

• The Good and the Bad

  6 adults 3 children 2 boats.

  The GOOD. The house was beautiful. It was very modern and updated. The view of the lake was great and the room to spread out and do other things was wonderful. The ability to work on boats and have the boat lift was a great plus. The elevator for getting all our luggage up to the 2nd floor was amazing. The balcony on the back of the house overlooking the canal was wonderful and had great seating options. The AC worked very well. All the rooms had enough space for our group, and the office to get some work done was nice.

  The BAD. All but the ping pong table in the game room was broken. This put a stain on the vacation as we were expecting to be able to have the kids play in the game room. The coffee pot had an entire ecosystem in it. It had not been cleaned or emptied of the grounds in a long time. The boat lift straps were disconnected from one side and thrown in the mud took us a while to get it straight. The boat lift is a little sketchy, we put a John boat in it, wouldn't recommend anything heavier. The Mako we left in the water on the canal. The BBQ grill was rusted out and missing parts. The ad said there were kayaks, there were no kayaks (I even talked to the person at the company that maintains the house and he said there are not any kayaks).

  Conclusion.

  Overall, the house was amazing. We had a great time and loved the time we spent there. We will be booking here again. Next time we have a better idea of what to expect. We have already recommended this house to friends and family with what we experienced. The Ability to jump in the boat and go fishing was the best.

  For those of you wondering, it was very early in the season for fishing and didn’t catch a whole lot. And apparently the crabs were in hiding as well… But the kids along with the adults had a great time on the water and hanging out in the house.
