Cozy, Private, & Welcoming
5/5 We stumbled upon a true hidden gem! Jeff and Edie, the gracious hosts, went out of their way to make sure our stay at their place was nothing short of delightful. Their warm welcome and attentive service made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Peaceful and secluded but close to everything
5/5 Edie met us as we pulled into the drive and showed us to our room, explaining where everything was and let us know she was right across the way at the main house if we needed anything. Parking was super convenient and walking through the arched entry hall into the garden courtyard on the path to our room was rather ethereal. The owner is close enough to be convenient if anything is needed, but the manner in which it is set up gives guests privacy and a sense of being in your own little world. Love the historic feel! (The old screen door did it for me). The grounds are beautiful and the pond and natural gardens near the room are so peaceful. 10 minutes from everything but you'd never know it!
Super comfy mattress and pillows, more than sufficient hot water (hard to find in an historic rental), and pretty much everything we needed was provided. We're looking forward to staying at the Sugar House again!
