It’s right on the Lake and there’s a boat ramp right next to the property. It was the perfect size for us and had all we needed. We suggest you get your supplies on the way out! It’s a drive to anywhere. We were there for Mammoth National Park, it’s a shorter drive if the ferry is open. We couldn’t figure out the tv’s though, and the outside of the property is a bit of a mess, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall this apartment is cute, however we were very disappointed in the screened in deck/porch. I realize this is pollen season, however the porch was very dirty and very covered in pollen. The only table to eat on is on that porch and it was totally covered in pollen. I had to clean it myself to have a clean space to eat.As this is the only place to eat, this area should have been cleaned before we arrived. The floor of that area was also completely covered in pollen, and spider webs in corners. I did not schedule a getaway so that I could clean when I got there. Also, since the weather overall was cool and rainy (the storm that came blew in through the screens getting the chairs and cushions wet) we could not eat out there during or after the storm.I would suggest that some tray tables in the house would be a good idea so that when you cannot eat on the porch, there is something to put your meal on as you eat.In any case, the complete pollen cover of the dining table, porch tables and porch floor should have been cleaned before we arrived. Regardless of pollen, that area should be clean when guests arrive. My husband also found a complete hodgpodge of wires with the TV and whatever kind of stereo/radio/DVD system was there, so that it was crazy to figure how to tune stations on the radio, etc. We did use the TV.Is there not some booklets/instructions for this equipment? We found it too difficult to maneuver down the hill, and through the wooded area to fish.

Overall nothing too impressive or bad. Though had to clean up multiple dead bugs inside upon arrival.

It is a very cute and cozy house. The view of the water was beautiful and we even collected some wood to Have a fire on the patio in the fireplace. Pretty secluded so make sure you get food to cook before you start your trip to the property there is not a lot of anything close by.
