I love this place
5/5 We first visited in 2015, and fell in love with the grounds, cabins, and Bob. He was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. The cabins were rustic, quiet, and in the middle of nature. Loved coming here to get away from life, and enjoy the peacefulness.
Sadly, this world lost Bob, and White Oaks have new ownership. Guess what, they only made it better. They are working hard to update everything (wifi, tvs, and even Bob's Activity barn).
White Oaks is still an amazing place to visit to get away from the world. We will definately be back, and encourage everyone else to visit.
White Oaks Cabin
5/5 Very lovely cabin. Secluded and peaceful yet close to many attractions. Nice screened in porch and wonderful fire pit. Each night we heard owls.Host Heather was friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Also cabin was very well stocked , could not have asked for anything more!!

Perfect Hidden Gem
5/5 My best friend and I were looking for a secluded cabin for a tech-free reading vacation and came across several listings for the White Oaks cabins. We picked this one because it appeared to offer everything we needed.
First off, the host was great, answering all my questions and offering help for whatever we needed.
Checking in was flawless thanks and the welcome text included a map and helpful hints. Definitely drive cautiously, the gravel road is not one to be taken quickly. The cabin had a beautiful old charm but also every amenity we needed. We didn't use the wi-fi much but the signal was strong. The furniture was clean and comfy. I already miss the recliner. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve meals. The beds were comfy and we both slept perfectly well.
The cabin is showing its age, but to us that was just a picture of how loved it is. There's some wear and tear that fussier people might complain about, but it didn't bother us at all. The one suggestion I would make is that the bathroom needs a stronger light. It was a bit of a dark shower.
I look forward to booking again. It was a lovely time
