  The location and the home were lovely. It just was not ready for rental. The lack of AC was noted, and it was very hot. That's okay. We were prepared, bringing fans. But! Few or broken screens meant we either had loads of bugs or cooler air. Also, almost every outlet was only available for 2 prong cords. Dangerous, and also unusable by a grounded box fan. Disappointing stay to be charged so much for a property not really ready for rental.

  The house had some positive things that made our stay pleasant. Some things we enjoyed was the ping pong table, the massage chair, the comfortable living room furniture with large screen TV, the close vicinity to Schweitzer Ski Resort, the beds were comfortable, and close vicinity to nice hiking trails. Communication was good before our visit. There were some things that need improvement and suggestions I would like to make. We were two families so it would have been nice to have had two keys. Just one key made it frustrating. The heating in the house or lack of was also frustrating. The upstairs bedrooms had no heating which made it very cold in there at night when the doors are closed. There were no written instructions on how to use the gas fireplace which was the main source of heating for the house along with another gas fireplace downstairs. It was difficult to keep the temperature at a comfortable heat. There were many many times we tripped on the transition strip between the kitchen and dining room. We finally had to put an object down on the strip to remind us to pick our feet up higher when entering the kitchen. And lastly the kitchen was sadly not stocked very well. It didn't even have a can opener (very frustrating). Most of the dishes were so old that we couldn't put them in the microwave. If you enjoy cooking when on vacation this kitchen will not be helpful. It was strange that the downstairs bedroom does not have drapes. And it would have been nice to have had nightstands on both sides of the bed. Also, it would have been helpful to know that the twin bed upstairs had a trundle bed under it which we were pleasantly surprised and took advantage of.Otherwise, the space in the house worked well for us two separate families.

We will certainly consider your suggestion to provide two keys to make the stay more convenient, especially for larger groups.

We understand the importance of a comfortable temperature, and we have addressed the lack of heating in the upstairs bedrooms by adding 3 space heaters to the upstairs area as well as fixing the pilot light controlling the upstairs heat. Additionally, we will ensure that clear written instructions on using the gas fireplace are provided to make it easier for guests to control the temperature to their liking.
  - Your feedback about the kitchen amenities, and bedroom arrangements is duly noted. We will work on improving the kitchen stock, including providing a can opener, and evaluate the condition of dishes to ensure they are suitable for use. We will also consider your suggestions for better bedroom arrangements and have added more drapes to the downstairs bedroom.

• Location location!

  The house is huge! Older but kept up well! It was close to everything and we had a blast there! The owner HK was really good to deal with. Very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
