• A really nice place to stay!

  After working all day, then catching a flight to Hilo late in the evening, l was exhausted when l arrived at the apartment. As soon as l entered, it felt warm and inviting. The decor was "spa like" and created an environment of comfort and calmness. There was a sweet welcome sign greeting me by my name, and a wonderful bowl filled with local "treats " that was perfect for a hungry traveller. And in the fridge was a filter pitcher full of ice cold water, and cups of Greek yogurt! There were pr I justotein shakes as well that were perfect for a quick early morning breakfast before dashing off to work! It was obvious that the Hosts put much thought and effort into creating a perfect "Home Away from Home" for the busy traveller. It was perfect for me!

• Amazing!

  This apartment is such an oasis within Hilo and I can’t recommend it enough.

  The apartment is clean, well decorated, and stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, and anything else you may need for your stay here.

  The location is safe and a short walk to downtown where you can enjoy the farmers market, restaurants, and night market. It is also a very quick drive to HMC.

  Kelly is an incredible landlord who is very attentive. She was quick to respond to any questions I had and gave excellent food recommendations! (Definitely check out Coffee Girl for their drinks and Just Cruisin for their macadamia nut chicken salad sandwich- thank you Kelly for recommending!)

  The next time I come to Hilo I will definitely stay here again. If anyone is looking to stay in Hilo, this is the best place to stay due to its location, amenities, and all around luxurious tropical vibes!

• The best place to stay in Hilo!

  We booked the apartment on Booking.com based on location and the lovely decor of the apartment. The apartment is beautiful just as described with loads of lovely personalised items which helped us during our stay. Thank you to Kelly for being a great host, your kindness is much appreciated. • Wonderful apartment!

  Great location- walking distance to downtown Hilo. Very nice inside- just like the photos. We immediately felt at home. Very comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen with many extras. Screened lanai was perfect for relaxing and listening to birds in the morning. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to this beautiful island.

• Great location!

  This was a great location for everything we wanted to do in Hilo and Volcano. Don’t let the lack of A/C scare you off - it get plenty cool after the sun goes down. Street noise could be an issue for light sleepers. We use white noise machines so we had no issues.

  Kelly is an amazing and responsive host. Quick to answer texts and offer resolution to any issues. The apartment is very clean and has plenty of amenities! The reserved parking spot is hard to see if you arrive after dark, but it’s right next to the gated pool entrance and apartment is in the building directly next to the pool.
