Lovely Savannah home base in a great location
5/5 We spent a lot of time in the apartment during our stay in Savannah, and it was a great home base. Lovely location right on a historic square. I could sit on the little balcony and people watch the cobblestone street below. As the other reviews state, there really are food and drink options right within walking distance (0.3 miles to many options).
We went during a heat wave in July and I was pleasantly surprised that the AC units really effectively cooled the whole space. Plus, they're relatively new window units so they didn't make the air feel "weird" by having them constantly running (I have sensitive sinuses).
The host contact was friendly and responsive via text when I reached out to them at check in and check out.
One caveat: It's a 100 year old historic building. There's plenty of hot water, but the water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired. If you have long thick hair, give it a good wash before you leave home because it's challenging to get that going in the shower. Not a deal breaker though.
Great location but place was dirty
4/5 The location was amazing! We walked everywhere. However, the kitchen was dirty when we checked in (toaster oven, oven, and keurig all had crumbs/grease/spills and needed a good cleaning). To make this place 5 stars, I’d recommend adding a dishwasher, microwave, hairdryer, and replacing the old toilet.

4/5 Fantastic location. Walkable to all the restaurants and attractions in the downtown area. I highly recommend this spot! Had a great stay. I will be coming back.
