• Winter wonderland

  We have rented about 12 cabins over the last 4 years. This is the only cabin we have rented a second time. This place has everything you could ask for. It’s not mentioned that I am aware of in the description, but all three full bathrooms have heated floors. If you like fires you won’t find a better place to stay with 2 outdoor wood burning fireplaces and two indoor gas fireplaces what more could you ask for. You can see the observation tower at brasstown bald with the naked eye at sunset- when looking from the back of the house it’s the tallest peak on the right. If you have binoculars or a spotting scope you can see it good, I can see through the windows at sunrise with my spotting scope on 75 power. The house is beautiful in every way. We stayed from jan 4 to Jan 13 2024. Got between 4 and 5 inches of snow. We extended our stay for two days because we were scared to try leaving with snow on the roads. The driveway is paved but it’s 19% inclines according to my truck. A two wheel drive will have no problem getting up here as the roads are all paved the whole way as well. I never took my trucks out of 2wd. This is the best view that I am aware of in the area. You can see beautiful sunrises if there is no clouds or fog. You can see the Smokey Mountain smoke in the valley in the morning when the sun rises if you are lucky. The pool table here is the best maintained we have seen in our travels. My wife and I play a lot and it is playable where most others are

• Amazing GA vacation

  The home was exactly like the pictures. The view is priceless. Our family would absolutely go back. There are just a few things that I’d like to share. The directions on Apple Maps was spot on but trying to arrive past daylight is challenging. We have been at several cabins in different states in the mountain's and this was the scariest in the dark. There was also a pretty decent fog which of course made it harder. The owners really have thought of all the details . Down to the small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Absolutely beautiful experience.

• Picturesque Fall Cabin

• No heat

  We had no heat in this house on the first floor or the basement during our stay, even with low temperatures in the 40s.

  Place multiple service calls trying to get the system repaired with no success.

  We will not rent this home or rent through evolve again.

  Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced with the heating system during your stay. However, we’d like to offer some clarification regarding the situation.
  
  Our property manager was in contact with you multiple times throughout the weekend to assist with the thermostat settings. The heating system was confirmed to be working correctly through our remote app, but the thermostat had been set to "cool" instead of "heat," which may have caused the issue. Additionally, our thermostats feature an "emergency heat" setting that provides heat through a propane system when needed, but this option was not activated during your stay.
  
  We also want to note that the fireplace pilot light was turned off, which could have contributed to your discomfort. Instructions on how to operate the fireplace were provided prior to your arrival. While we offered to send someone to the house to assist, this offer was not accepted.
  
  We understand how frustrating it is to encounter issues during your stay, and we did our best to respond promptly. Unfortunately, due to local service availability, the HVAC technician was not able to arrive until Monday, after your departure. Their inspection revealed a cooling system issue, which has now been fully repaired.
  
  We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback. Please know that we have taken steps to ensure this situation does not happen again. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future.

• Jaw dropping

  Such a wonderful place to bring my family. When we walked through the front door at arrival everyone’s jaw dropped. We had spectacular views of the morning sunrise coming up over the mountains. We had plenty of room to move around and even catch some alone time on one of the three decks. We will definitely try to secure this cabin again in the future if we ever visit this area again.
