Tranquil & fun family vacation
5/5 I wanted to share the fantastic experience my family and I had during our recent trip to Ellijay, Georgia in July 2024. Our annual family trip this year included eight of us, along with our cocker spaniel Archie, and it was truly memorable.
We stayed at a beautiful cabin in Ellijay, and I must say that the owner was incredibly accommodating and easy to contact, especially when we encountered a rather amusing situation with a bear getting into the garbage cans. Despite the slight chaos, it added a unique touch of excitement to our stay, much to the amusement of our family.
The cabin itself exceeded our expectations in every way. The photos online did not do it justice - it was spacious, well-equipped with modern amenities, and had ample storage space. The presence of a washer and dryer was a lifesaver, and the kids particularly enjoyed the foosball table in the basement during the rainy days when we stayed indoors playing board games.
Throughout our stay, we found ourselves fully engaged in various activities, from exploring the local community pool rec centers to hiking in nearby parks, indulging in delicious ice cream in Ellijay, and creating unforgettable memories together. One of the highlights was the quality time spent together, with minimal distractions from electronic devices, as the kids were engrossed in the activities and bonding over board games and interactions with nature.
We only dined out once to celebrate my husband's birthday because the well-stocked kitchen in the cabin allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meals together. The serene surroundings, coupled with the warm hospitality we experienced, made our trip truly special.
As we departed from Ellijay, all the children, aged between 9 and 16, expressed their joy at the memorable moments shared and the fun experiences they had during the trip. We left with hearts full of gratitude and a strong desire to revisit the cabin in the future. We look forward to returning to Ellijay and creating more cherished memories in the near future.

5/5 The house, location, communication - all if it - was just terrific. It's a perfect place for a family or several couples... Lots of room, several bathrooms, very clean, very well appointed. I highly recommend it!

5/5 We stayed here with another family for a softball tournament we were in town for the cabin had plenty of space for all 8 of us and was very clean.
