Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. Kids loved the basement with games and theater room. Hot tub available. Fire pit. Creek down the hill. All made for a very enjoyable stay. Kitchen well equipped with everything you would need. Warning-driveway is very steep! I'm not sure all vehicles could make it without 4-wheel drive or front- wheel drive. And creek is a good little hike down and back, but the kids loved the creek as well.
Owner was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating.
Beautiful cabin and managers are very easy to communicate with! Very pleasant!

Our family had the best time in Ellijay! This cabin had everything and more that we needed. It is just a short drive to downtown Ellijay but absolutely secluded and plenty of land to explore! The kids loved the arcade games (Simpson bowling and Rampage were the favs!) and our youngest loved the large bin of Lego duplos and train table. We all enjoyed spending time down by the creek. We caught some small fish- with just a hook! The beds and furniture were all very comfortable, and the bathrooms are all redone and very beautiful.
Our favorite day was spent at the nearby Fort Mountain State Park. We left the trail map in the guestbook under the “hiking” section. The West Overlook trail led to one of the most beautiful lookouts we’ve ever seen! Breathtaking views! It is in the same area as the old stone fire tower hike.
Thank you to the owners for allowing us to rent the cabin! We truly had the BEST time!
From the Owner: "Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that your family had an amazing time at our cabin in Ellijay. We're glad you enjoyed the amenities, including the arcade games and train table, which are definitely a hit with kids! It's amazing that you got to fish!!
It's great to hear that you also explored the beautiful outdoors, including the nearby Fort Mountain State Park, which offers some of the most stunning views in the area. We're so glad you got to experience it!
We appreciate your kind words about the cabin's comfort and amenities, and we're happy to hear that you found everything you needed and more. Our goal is to provide a cozy and relaxing space for families to create memories, and it sounds like we hit the mark with your family.
Thank you again for your review, and we hope to have you back at our cabin in the future!"
The property is large and secluded which we love! There were things to do at the house as well as things to do nearby in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The owner was very responsive as we had trouble getting in. I received 6 emails from Evolve (the property management company) which is way too many for one trip in my opinion. One of their emails was for checking in with driving instructions to find the driveway and the door code. Except it was the wrong door code. Ignore their emails and use the one from the owner! The owner also helped get us another remote when the one for the theater room was missing. They were very nice!
It was fun (yet physically challenging) to walk down to the water and even though it was pretty shallow my youngest was able to tube a little bit. There were lots of flies on the way down but they leave you alone near the water for some reason; and the owner had bug spray by the hot tub.
The paint job is really bad as some reviews mentioned but I saw the owner’s response on one. Maybe add that somewhere so people understand why.
Cons: the air hockey didn’t work (looks like too much moisture maybe) and the basketball score display was no longer attached. Also the keurig was ridiculously loud. You couldn’t make a cup without waking people! Otherwise the house was lovely!
Make sure to stop by Ellijay wood fired pizza when you go into town. Best pizza ever!
If you head to Blue Ridge, check out Smokin E’s BBQ; you won’t be disappointed!

From the owner: "We're beaming with pride thanks to your kind review! It means the world to us that you had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We're so glad you felt at home and appreciated the extra efforts we put into making our space special. The Air hockey will be serviced next week and basket ball is totally functional .We will replace the Keurig , Appreciate you bringing this to our notice. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us – we hope to welcome you back soon!"
This cabin was so unique and well built, we loved everything about it! My favorite part of the house was the top floor reading nook! The kitchen was well stocked and there was an instapot and slow cooker as well as an air fryer. The downstairs was a favorite of the kids, there was so much to keep them entertained. They especially loved the movie room! We adults loved it because, once they were in the movie room, we didn’t hear a peep upstairs which gave us much needed quiet time. We also loved the creek down below that we could play in when we wanted days to stay in. We highly recommend visiting the Gennett Poplar (2nd largest in GA), Tumbling Waters Trail, and the Cartecay River Loop if you’re into hiking.
From the owner: "So glad you and your family enjoyed every bit of what our mountain retreat has to offer."
