Very lovely home in the Villages
5/5 We stayed for the month of January, 2024. This house is a WOW. It is as beautiful as the photos show. The owners were very thoughtful in equipping the home with everything you need. The neighbors were friendly, everyone waved. The house was across the street from the start of one of the many paved walking paths around the ponds where you could see a number of animals and birds on a daily basis. There were also many rec centers and pools nearby, some of which were just a golf cart ride away. Using the Villages App is a must. Additionally there were supermarkets within a few minutes in either direction of the neighborhood. There seemed to always be something going on at one of the squares, and music nightly. We will miss our favorite pizza place, Piezanos! We loved our stay at this beautiful home.

Spectacular Home - problems with amenities
4/5 First of all - this home is beautiful - very well appointed and spotless. We loved the home. We have stayed in VRBOs in many cities, and have never left anything other than glowing reviews. Our problems were with the property manager and the amenities. This was our 3rd VRBO stay in The Villages, and our other two stays were seamless. We arrived on Saturday, and we didn’t receive our temporary resident guess pass until Wednesday, so that meant no golf or swimming for half of our stay. We went to the sales office to get our pass, and there was a mix-up with the paperwork on the part of the rental agency, so it took days to get it. There was also major miscommunication about the golf car. We were very clear that we wanted to use the golf car during our visit. We submitted our insurance card prior to our visit. The key was locked in a box when we arrived. We were surprised we needed to pay $30.00 a day for the car, and that money transfer had to occur before we gained access to the key. It was Sunday, and we couldn’t contact our bank to assist with the Zelle money transfer. We had plans for the day with friends that included golf car time, so that was very frustrating. We thought we had this all arranged prior to our departure. If you want a gorgeous home, located close to lots of Villages fun, and you don’t need a golf car or a guess pass, this is your place. *Our issues were all with the rental agency, so we are providing them with feedback also.
