30 minutes before we were to check in we received an email with house rules that had not been discussed any sooner. Several were a bit obnoxious and intrusive. Including not throwing even toilet paper in the toilets... Upon arrival the house was 80° and smelled sour in every room. After several hours of airing out and turning on the AC we finally got it comfortable. There were dead plants in two rooms, moldy dishes in the kitchen, and rotting food left from the previous renters. We had 11 guests registered but we're still accused of "having a large gathering". We were also accused of vaping/ smoking on property when we were only using the fire pit on site. We paid for the pool to be heated, but that was not conveyed to the property manager so it was not heated. The wifi name was different on every device we used, nor was it listed in the home. We couldn't use an entire room and three beds due to the overwhelming mildewing/ sour smell not coming out of that room. Every bed was rock hard, so we're the pillows. We did like the large variety of different age ranges of toys. The master shower was beautiful.

- We understand that receiving the house rules shortly before check-in was not ideal, and we’re working with our team to ensure guests have all relevant details well in advance.
- The property should have been fresh and ready for your arrival, and we apologize if the A/C was off and for any lingering odors. Our cleaning team would have been happy to address these issues if notified.
- Regarding cleanliness, the dish with mold and a few spices from a previous guest were accidentally overlooked. The cleaning team offered to come back and resolve this, but we respect your decision to decline.
- It is important to note that our property has a maximum of 11 guests, however, it was noted your group was of 14-16 guests. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own.
- The pool heat should have been set prior to your stay, and we regret the miscommunication on our end. This has been addressed to ensure future guests can enjoy a properly heated pool as requested.
- For the Wi-Fi, we’re looking into ways to streamline the login process and ensure the correct network information is clearly posted for ease of access.
- While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress and pillows didn't meet your preferences.
