• Not what it looks like and terrible experience

  The property photo is deceiving….the front of the house looks run down and the yard is out of control. There was no parking in the driveway like indicated as the owner was parked there.We arrived late at night from our flight and couldn’t get in. After multiple attempts and the owner inside watching from the window as my daughter and I struggled, I was able to get ahold of the property manager who could not get a hold of the owner. After 30 minutes of trying, the property manager determined it was not a safe situation that late at night and refunded us our money. We then had to find somewhere else to stay at 11:30pm. Fortunately, we were able to find a hotel. The area of the house is run down. Cops everywhere. Definitely not as advertised. Would not recommend.The only positive was the property manager allowing us out of the reservation.

  From the Owner; Hi Courtney, we don't know why you decided that our home was not for you and you decided to leave but this review is unfair. You were given a full refund for your complaints to VRBO which put us in a bad place because we could not rent to someone else in such a short time.
  
  Our home is in a nice and very safe neighborhood, the photos in the listing are accurate and depict exactly what you will find when you arrive at the home. The garden and grounds are spotless and in immaculate condition.
  
  We live on-site but in a separate unit with a separate entrance and share the backyard. We always give the front parking to our guests and there is additional street parking. We never would have looked through the window without acknowledging you if you were out front or at the door. We were not contacted by you or Evolve to let us know you were having issues getting into the home.
  
  Our next-door neighbor works for the sheriff's department and that is why there is a service vehicle in the driveway not because of any issues in the neighborhood.
  
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  Rental was in a good quite location. It was basically a guest room they made from a garage stall. No daylight in room. No easy chair, need to sit on bed very small and probably no easy chair would fit in the room. The room had a small kitchen counter with amenities. Room was clean when we arrived but the ants found their way in. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower this would be the place for you. Never met the manager of the place.
