  We enjoyed 2 of 5 days in the Sarasota area before leaving early due to Helene warnings. When we called our Evolve contact, we got no answer and left a voicemail. We were concerned that the owner should know that the house would be vacant. After a 5 hr trip back to Orlando due to hurricane traffic, we still had no contact. The next day, I found an email address to the company. They did respond but we never heard from the listed agent contact. They implied that we should have just stayed in a hurricane prone area. We were impressed by the property we rented and would have returned at a later date or recommended it, but we will never deal with Evolve agan..We are checking our 2 other scheduled Vrbo rentals to be sure that we are dealing with owners who will respond.

  - While we understand your decision to leave, which is documented as one day early due to concerns about the storm, however, the area was not under a mandatory evacuation, and the homes location remained safe throughout your stay.
  - We did send a text message to your booking phone number but did not receive a response. It seems there may have been some miscommunication during this time.
  - Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure fairness, but we encourage guests to review the terms, especially in areas that may be affected by weather events like hurricanes.

  Very clean, cute, and relaxing! The lanai super attractive and a favorite! King size bed in one of the bedrooms an added bonus.

  - We provide plenty of suggestions in the listing description of nearby places to walk, but ultimately it’s up to the guest how they want to spend their time in the area. We also include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home before booking.
  - We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs. The listing does state that there are lots of places to walk near our home, but we’re sorry if this caught you off guard. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to resolve your concerns and make your stay more comfortable.
  - As you can see by our many great reviews, we are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!

• Comfortable and quiet

  My family members and I stayed in Sarasota to see a dying family member. As uncomfortable as the situation was, the house we stayed in was lovely. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings and had lovely dinners together. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. It is just minutes from the beach.
