We loved every moment here!
5/5 We love this home! My sisters, mom, and I spent a week here and felt so welcomed, relaxed, and comfortable that we would love to make it part of our family tradition! The day greeted us with quiet sunrises over the canal in the swing or the spa, breakfast in the sunshine by the pool (no bugs because of the lanai cage), a morning swim, or a walk in the neighborhood or farmers markets. We would pack a picnic to adventure to the beaches for shelling and playing or hiking the dunes and nature trails. Our favorite surprise finds were the Berne Davis Botanical Gardens, The Gilded Grape in Port Charlotte, and The Wine and Chocolate Store in Punta Gorda. We could kayak right out the back door or take a leisurely nap on the lanai before dinner. We felt blessed to see the manatees right off the dock!
The home itself is so welcoming with beautiful, simple, and clean decor that it makes you want to take a deep breath and sink into vacation mode. From the cheery full kitchen to the chill living room to the quiet comfortable bedrooms. It has everything we needed plus more thoughtful touches we didn't know we deserved. The host is quick to respond, and easy to work with. The welcome instruction book has all the important details for the house itself and also nice information about the surrounding communities. The canal neighborhood is lovely and quiet. And it is a quick 10-minute drive from the Punta Gorda airport and about 40 minutes from the Fort Myers airport.
