Overall the house was perfect for us. We were able to bring our dogs and not have to worry about them when we would go to the beach, shop, etc. There was plenty of room for our 3 teenagers. Only issue, that we were able to work around.....none of the outlets in the master bath worked. Fortunately there was one right outside the bathroom door that we were able to use.

Most everything was perfect. The house was very clean, nice area for our dogs to roam, great location and private quiet neighborhood. The only complaint we had was the smell of cigarette smoke. Niether my friend or I is a smoker so it got to us a little despite the air purifier. One last suggestion we wished there would have been a TV in the front bedroom. We didnt use thw kid room which had a TV. We had a very nice stay. We loved how well the house was supplied with kitchen utensils, Kuerig, ice, and no carpet in the entire house. We just feel it should have been listed as a smoking house to make the decision if that was something we wanted to encounter.

We arrived in the evening . Very dark street, there were no outside lights on, and no garage lights were accessible! Inside the home smelled of cigarette smoke, it’s listed as non- smoking , we turned off the AC, opened the windows to air out. We think the residents were smokers as with the AC back on the smell came back. The beds we’re soft and ok for 2 nights. Sliding back door latch was broken and in pieces. Not knowing this neighbourhood felt unsafe. All services were unhelpful VRBO, EvOLVE and owner.

I stayed there with my family for 2 months. First thing, there is a 2 car garage, but it's locked and used for storage by the owner only. You will never have access to this. I've told Evolve about this and they don't seem to mind selling it this way. Second, the yard is not usable for anyone. It's not maintained so it's weeds of every flavor, along with sand spurs. You won't be spending any time in it, and you will have a very filthy dog from using the yard and being on a dirt road. Mine got a rash. Third, this house is filthy. Like pig pen filthy. The guest contact told me they only pay a small rate to the house cleaners so they don't get very good results. And when I asked if they should pay more he said they don't want to pay more to get a better result. My cat was sneezing most of the time we were there due to dirt in the air that coated every surface frequently. The 2nd bathroom had deep down stuck on mold along the caulking of the shower that no bleach could penetrate. I ended up cleaning the house quite a bit to make it livable. The guest contact was made aware of this and did not care. Evolve has been made aware of this and does not care. I had to use a laundromat for a while until the guest contact would replace the washer and dryer, due to them being old and rusty, and the dryer appeared to be broken. That cost quite a lot. Again, no one cared. The guest contact replaced them with new to you stuff that has that blackened gum in the dryer, so don't get excited about there being something new there. I did get the guest contact to replace the pots and pans, after having to buy one myself, due to them being very old and not usable. In the end, I ended up putting most of their dirty old stuff in closets and using my own bedding, trash cans and dishes. It could be a very nice place if it was maintained, but the guest contact told me the owners don't want to put anything into it. I've told Evolve all of this. They don't seem to care. If you're staying there for a short period of time and don't plan to spend much time there and don't care about dirty stuff, then this will work out well for you. Otherwise beware.
Hi Christina, we always appreciate honest and constructive feedback, but after talking with the homeowner, they'd like to clarify the following points:
- We prioritize every guest experience and did all we could to accommodate you during your stay.
- When you expressed concern about the pots and pans, we brought over a new set the next day. As soon as you reported an issue with the washer and dryer, we purchased a new set, and the washer/dryer was replaced within 48 hours.
- As for the cleanliness concerns, we asked what the issues were so they could look into and address them. You provided no information or photos regarding your concerns.
- The cleaners have always done a thorough job preparing the home for each guest. They provide us with photos after each cleaning to ensure the property is cleaned and ready for guests. Additionally, they are paid a competitive rate for their services.
- The Guest Contact is responsive and attentive to all guest's needs, which is how they were able to address your concerns within 24-48 hours.
- The yard is regularly mowed and maintained, and there was lawn service multiple times during your stay. We also have a pest control company that manages any pest issues quarterly.
- The bedding is good quality and is replaced at least once per year, and immediately if stained or damaged. In addition, the dishes were newly purchased in April of 2022.
- You did not reach out to Evolve once during your 2-month stay and first reported issues ten days after your checkout. Evolve takes both sides into consideration when coming to a resolution. Due to insufficient documentation, they were unable to come to a fair resolution.
