    It is clear that the owner has tried to make this place appear nicer, but it still has major room for improvement. First, know that this is run by a management company, so for any issues, you're not talking to a middleman. There is a lengthy list of rules for the stay and procedures for check out, and threats of fines for broken rules. The unit didn't feel like it had been cleaned thoroughly; counters were sticky, dishes were dirty, and a lot of dust on appliances and surfaces. The blinds in the kitchen window don't close all the way, so anyone walking by could see into the unit, which is unsettling. The bathroom is poorly lit, and has stained ceilings/walls and paint coming off. Some decor was falling off the walls, and it was clear that decor was placed to cover certain eye sores around the unit. The window by the bed is too dirty to see out of, but they'd strategically left the blinds closed for check in, so its not noticeable immediately. The walls are thin in the building, so despite it being an "adults only" property, if there are kids in the neighboring units, you'll hear them when they're noisy.If you need a last minute place to stay, this could be a roof over your head. The location is convenient and there is a shared pool behind the building. After fees and taxes, the total cost ended up being almost 200% of what the listed nightly price was. So considering all the factors, I won't be staying here again.

    Owner's response: "Anonymous, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
    - We do have a management company that we go through, however, if you have any issues while at the property you can reach out to our guest contact. They are local and the boots on the ground and are here to assist and take care of all our guests.
    - We like most short-term rentals have house rules that we expect our guests to abide by. They are for the safety of the property as well as the guests themselves. We do not feel they are asking too much, we just want to ensure that we do not incur a lot of fees for damages.
    - We have a list of items that we request to get started so that the cleaners have a jump on their day. This is to be helpful and is requested like most short-term rentals. As for the instructions on how to leave the unit, these are just things to be done as a courtesy, we want the unit to be left in the same condition as when you arrive.
    - We apologize if the unit was not as clean as it should have been, we have had some problems with our cleaners. We are in the process of getting things taken care of and hope to ensure all future guests will arrive at a home that is 100% clean and guest-ready.
    - We have not had any issues with the blinds but will look into this.
    - While the block is kid-friendly, unfortunately, HOA rules do not permit renters with young children. Owners with kids are courteous enough to follow the quiet hours, so kids do not typically make noise at all hours of the night.

    We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests."
