Mt Dora Review 8-23-2025
5/5 Exactly as described! Perfect for a couple. Kitchen was complete enough to make a huge batch of baked Rigatoni. Bed was comfy loungers power reclined and the air was cold on hot days. The pool was cleaned daily and wonderful. Great parking. Private fenced back yard. Literally minutes from cute downtown Mt Dora. I will stay here the next time we visit my Dad.

3/5 We were disappointed that the host never came to greet us. She knew we were Deaf and it would have been nice if she had greeted us. It seemed so strange we never saw the host. She was right next to our little cozy place.

Cute Place
3/5 The a/c does not cool the room efficiently, so it made for a hard two nights of sleep. There was a lot of outside noise that contributed to the lack of sleep. (party at the house behind the unit, people talking loudly in the lot next to unit) It is a cute and clean unit although very small. The mattress was very soft. The pool was nice and clean. Check in was easy, and the communication with the owner was good.

- The mini-split A/C is just a few years old and has a manual in the cottage—it's working properly, but we're sorry it didn’t meet your expectations and would’ve been happy to assist if contacted
- The lot next door is home to another short-term rental with an outdoor sitting area, which may have contributed to the noise
- We’re glad you found the cottage clean, enjoyed the pool, and had a smooth check-in and communication experience
