From the location close to family, to the quiet neighborhood, to the impeccable decor, this home had everything we were looking for to make an emergency trip so much better. We like simple yet comfortable accommodations and have been coming to this area for visits for many years. Having stayed at no less than 8 different VRBOs over the years, this had everything we wanted. Gorgeos landscaping, cozy yet comfortable decor with full kitchen and livingroom seating. But the best part was the comfort of the beds. No matter how beautiful a home can be, if you can't get a good nights sleep it just isn't worth it. Not only were the beds the best, but the linens were of high quality. The kitchen also blew me a way with its authentic retro Florida 1940s vibe with everything from the kureig coffee maker to the Galanz refrigerator to the cool microwave all matching in a soothing aqua. I wish I had had the time to use the bicycle because we love this neighborhood as well. Streets are 1 way to make it safe to ride down with sidewalks to stroll and gaze at the mature landscaping in the yards. Totally a blue collar working neighborhood, but that's the backbone of what has made our country great!

From the Owner: "Elaine, thank you so much for your kind 5-star review. You were lovely guests and I enjoyed hosting you. It is nice when I get a chance to interact with the guests and help them get comfortable in the bungalow. I am glad to hear the beds were comfortable and you appreciated the linens. We recently upgraded the mattress in the guest room, and I swear by the Brook linen sheets. It is great to know these details do not go unnoticed. Please come and stay again when you are in the area. I would love to host you again."
This little cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We only used the one bedroom to the left, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable.
Loved having the lables around the house to help find things.
The only thing I would have changed, is the blinds in the living room. In the evening you can see right through the blinds into the house from outside. I would like to have had maybe some levelors inside that we can lower in the evening.
We would recommend this little cottage.
From the owner: "Hi Scott & Lynn, thank you for your 5-star review. We’ll certainly look into a solution for the front blind. We appreciate how it gently filters the daylight, particularly during the hot summer months of July and August. Since the home is set back and sheltered by two large live oaks and a privacy hedge, visibility from the street has never been a concern for us at night. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the main bedroom bed especially comfortable. We’d be delighted to host you again if you’re ever in the area."
Nice small home. It was an enjoyable stay with mostly all necessities included. Would stay again.
From the owner: "Omi, thank you for your 5-star review. You were great guests, and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Please visit again anytime you are in the area."
Very enjoyable stay in this historic bungalow: pretty decor, comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, lots of linens/beach towels, well-equipped kitchen, and of course, a lovely backyard.
The neighborhood is quiet, everything is close (beach, downtown Lake Worth, stores, etc.).
From the owner: "Christine, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the bungalow. Thank you for your kind words and the wonderful care of our home. I am so excited to see you have booked it again for next winter. You were amazing guests. I appreciate all the care and communication."
Loved the retro look, owners have spent a great deal of time and money on the decor and making their vacation home special. It was a lovely, comfy place!
