House wasn’t clean or upkept to what’s advertised on listing. Ants in kitchen and master bathroom area. Screens were broken out at the pool was a total inconvenience to our stay to get fixed. Pool light inside the pool was out. Back patio door was broken to shut and lock, no handle. Master bedroom bed was very hard and extremely uncomfortable. They had to call pest control. Everything should not been handled and fixed before our stay. Very unprofessional. We have stayed at several places and never had a house like this. Constantly had to go back and forth that our first night was completely ruined and couldn’t do the plans we had due to the back door not shutting and feeling unsafe Unhappy

Hi Roselyn, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that’s fully prepared for a seamless stay, and we apologize that this wasn’t the experience for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they’d like to share the following:
- We immediately scheduled pest control to address the ants in both the kitchen and master bathroom areas. The treatment was completed as soon as access to the home was available.
- Due to recent hurricane damage, repairs for the pool screens had been scheduled prior to your arrival. Unfortunately, timing challenges prevented an earlier fix, but the repair team was able to complete the work once they gained entry.
- We attempted to address your concerns with the back patio door and arranged for the handyman to visit. However, after the handyman's initial arrival, we understood that you opted to secure the door yourself.
- The pool light issue required a specialized technician, and while we sought immediate availability, technicians were only able to assess it after your stay.
- The bed is a medium-firm mattress that many guests find comfortable, though we recognize that mattress preference can vary from guest to guest.

We were not able to use one of the rooms when we arrived because the blinds in the front roim were missing. I reached out to management and they sent someone and replaced the blinds but it was the night before us leaving they need to replace all the blinds in the house and replace the beds they squeak alot and very uncomfortable

-The homeowner was not previously aware of the missing blinds in the front room, but we’re glad to hear that the property management team was able to replace them during your stay. They will be checking all the blinds in the house to ensure this doesn’t happen again for future guests.
-The beds are also being reviewed to address the squeaking and to assess whether replacements are needed to improve comfort.

We stayed at this property last year for our summer vacation and it was great, so when we saw it was available again for this years trip, we immediately booked. It’s comfortable and feels homey, plenty of space, pool was perfect. We had the best time! We had no issues, the only thing I keep forgetting to ask about is how to turn on the light in the pool lol. We will look for this listing again next year!

Manager sent an electrician without telling us, order pizza and sat down to eat… went bs k for seconds and had to throw it all away due to ants. Place was not the cleanest but also not the worst I’ve seen. Beds were uncomfortable and the ones in the two front rooms made loud noises when you moved in them….

- On the first day of your stay, we sent a handyman to check the bathroom sink. Unfortunately, he was delayed by a prior job and arrived after your check-in. We apologize for any discomfort this caused.
- Regarding the ants, we’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused. When notified, we offered to send pest control, but we understand you declined as it was your last day. We’ve since taken additional steps to address the ant issue.

I purposely rented this home to use ALL four bedrooms. We were unable to use two. (One bed was toddler size beds-not twins. The queen room bed was beyond repair.) So my son and other people in our party had to sleep on couch and an air mattress I bought. We had to wear shoes the entire stay as the floors were dirty. There are no simple / essential items provided other than a roll of toilet paper and a trash bag. They ask you to launder some towels before you depart but provide no detergent. The pool area chairs are pretty junky and one of them is completely broken. I reached out to the owner / property manager about problems on the first day and nothing was done. So don’t waste your time. This is the first time I left a vacation home wishing I would’ve just booked a hotel stay.
