  Great place to stay!! It is exactly as described. Perfect to hang out and relax, the owners were so kind and made sure we can contact if needed! Quiet place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist spots, yet so close to all the activities!

• Great Location

  Great location in a residential neighborhood. 1 block to a main road into Fort Walton Beach makes this an ideal location to head to the island beaches (across a causeway), in-town restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and several eating areas. Covered patio is a great place to spend the afternoon out of the sun.

• Our new absolute favorite spot!

  I rarely leave reviews. It’s much more my husband’s thing. Lol. But our stay here was so incredibly amazing I felt the need to share. Gwen and Ed were the absolute best hosts we’ve ever had! After a 10 hour drive their hospitality and kindness was much appreciated! The house is a perfect mix of vintage and new. The beds are comfy, they have the softest towels and everything is tidy. Is it a brand new home without any issues? Well no. But it’s minor flaws and blemishes and beautiful boho/beachy/hippie style combined with how clean everything is more than makes up for it. I will say I am very hard to please when it comes to cleanliness because I myself own a cleaning business and I’m a tough critic. The family room area had plenty of space for our family of seven to have game nights and watch movies and the dining areas and bar tops gave us tons of space to eat dinners together as a family as well. The covered porches with comfy furniture and a privacy fence made for peaceful mornings with just my caffeine and the warm sun before everyone got up. The pool was always clean and there are plenty of chairs available on the pool deck. I could go on and on about everything we loved about this place. The beach is a only a few minutes up the street and this is the first time we haven’t stayed ocean front and I’m so glad we did! The peace and quiet was wonderful as was seeing little kids walking to school and really getting a true feel for the are not just ‘the tourist strip’. There were only two things we wish we could’ve had that aren’t here and that was a washer and dryer. With a family of seven it’s a bit difficult not having one on a beach trip but we made do. Because everything else trumped this by a mile! I promise you won’t regret staying here! We will definitely be making this place our new vacation spot!

• Family time

  Very nice and responsive property owners who live across the street, made this a pleasant and comfortable stay.

  My father used to live in this part of Florida, and I have many pleasant memories. I brought my children and grandsons, to enjoy the saltlife as I know it.

  The owners could not be more nice, and were totally o.k. with a couple of local friends visiting for bar b que and a swim.
