• Great house and location

  Beautiful house, great location, beds are nice. LOts of extra blankets, games for the kids, Bathrooms are very very nice. Parking is tight. The only issue we had was there was no power to dock for lights or to charge the boats, Tiffany tired to help us but we couldn't figure it out. It was ok we enjoyed the dock anyways. We did not use the stove top because I was scared of the crack in it. We would rent again.

• Disappointing- dirty, missing several key essentials and no assistance offered by host

  First things first, the view is outstanding. And this can make up for a lot. But as a family traveling with kids, a few essentials are non-negotiable:

  (1) hot water- only available in the guest bathroom, the primary gets warm at best

  (2) dishwasher soap- none provided… when I asked the host, assuming I was just overlooking it, I was told to use Rinse Aid. There is no cleaner in Rinse Aid. It’s for preventing water spots only. When I pointed this out, I was told “idk, sorry”

  (3) as a result of #2, dishes in the cupboards and pots and pans were dirty- had to clean them all by hand before cooking every meal… not very relaxing!

  (4) hand soap- when the listing says to bring your own toiletries, I assumed this meant shampoo and body wash. There is no hand soap in the guest bathroom. This is a basic in my opinion and should be provided at all sinks.

  (5) washing machine- not properly balanced and makes a ton of noise as a result- woke the baby from his nap.

  (6) microwave- the digital screen is damaged so you can’t tell how much time you’ve entered or how much remains

  (7) oven- does not function unless you reset the breaker, when I messaged the host they said “this is the first I’ve been notified”- pretty hard to believe none of the other guests used the oven

  Overall, our stay was great. There were a few glitches but all in all very enjoyable.

• Beautiful River House

  This house is beautiful inside and out. The convenience of having the docks for our boat was a huge plus. Anyime we visit the river from now on we will stay here. The home and property is well equipped with all cooking and living necessities.

  Everything was great about our stay. It was a short weekend but the house was perfect. It was an excellent location, the house was clean, beds were comfy and it had everything you could possibly need or want. Not to mention the view was amazing! I will definitely be booking again but for a longer stay next time!
