  We had an issue the day after we got to the house and while it was handled fairly quickly, we were not satisfied with the compensation. We were there solely to attend and be a part of a family wedding. The day after we arrived, while showering for the first time, both bathrooms were not useable. Both toilets and bathtubs / showers backed up with sewage. The master shower was overflowing sewage inti the floor. While the property manage got a plumber there that night The rest of the family was not able to shower for a wedding that was our sole purpose of being in Florida. The property management company would only reimburse $113 which we feel is not adequate given the circumstances. Especially since they did not have anyone come to clean the soiled towels, bath mat and soiled floors that were soiled with sewage! So we had to handle and clean that disgusting mess. We felt one full night reimbursement was more appropriate but they advised the owner only would allow $113. Again we just don’t feel what they offered was adequate given the circumstances

• Never again!

  My family and I reserved this home for my daughter’s wedding. There were 8 of us staying in the home. The home wasn’t very welcoming. Every other Airbnb I have stayed in was very welcoming with a welcome basket, etc. I asked for early check in multiple times due to my daughters rehearsal dinner time being changed but the earliest was 3pm we could only get in after several texts and phone calls. We found out that no one was even staying at the home since June so not sure what the delay was. Also, we were only provided 8 towels. Had a pool with no beach towels, thank goodness I packed extra but I was doing a lot of laundry due to the towel situation. We weren’t provided any extra dish towels or cleaning supplies for the kitchen and no extra paper towels. My 2 daughters had bug bites on their legs which looked like flea bites so I had to strip the bed and wash the linen. Needless to say trying to have a good time for my daughter’s wedding I did a lot of laundry. Don’t think I will use this company again.

  Sarah, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
  
  Owner's response: "Sarah, we're sorry that you were not satisfied with our home, we work hard to provide a clean and comfortable home with the amenities needed to ensure our guests have a good stay.
  - Regarding the welcome basket, this is something that is left at the discretion of each owner. Not all short-term rentals leave a basket for each guest, this can get costly and is not always appreciated. We do provide our guests with a fully-stocked home with everything we think they will need from soaps, TP, paper towels, coffee, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and kitchen items too numerous to list. We also provide many pamphlets left for the guest with local area attractions for their stay.
  - We were able to provide you with an early check-in we're sorry it was not as early as you would have liked but we did what we could. Regardless of the occupancy of the home our onboard manager had to audit the home to ensure it was fully stocked and make sure everything was in order and debris-free from Hurricane Debbie. We did communicate this information to you before you arrived.
  - We left plenty of towels for you and your guests, and there are larger towels for the pool in the linen closet in the hallway. We're sorry you felt the need to do laundry if you had asked we would have let you know where they were.
  - We provide a dish towel for each guest’s stay, two new rolls of paper towels, and cleaning spray under the sink in the kitchen. We had extra paper towel rolls in the linen closet and could have taken care of your request immediately had you contacted us.
  - In regards to the bites your children got, the home is also checked thoroughly for any bug issues, and there was nothing seen prior to your check-in. There is a pool directly out in the backyard area, and Florida does have quite a few mosquitos especially if there is standing water. We do not have any pests of any kind in the home, we're sure these were attained while outside.
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

• Unforeseen issues but overall enjoyable stay.

  Communication with the house manager started off very poorly where I had to actually contact the owner of the property to get the host to reply to me with check in information. Once we arrived at the property we noticed that the rugs had not been cleaned, two of the 4 beds seemed like the sheets were not washed, and the master sheets were ripped. On our second night at the house, we had major plumbing issues that made us want to leave, however, the host responded quickly to this issue and got someone there the next morning, and the cleaners there later that day. We were still down one bathroom for 18 hours with no offer of a refund or credit for the day from the host. I would

  recommend that the owner replace the furniture in the front room that is clearly warn, and repair the loose or missing towel racks. Overall, despite the issues, we enjoyed our stay. Just having the pool and the outside area made this worth the stay.

  Very nice house large and spacious.the property manager was always available and if we were missing something it was delivered to us

  The neighbour hood was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay!
