    Wir ( 2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) waren für eine Woche Gäste in der Villa Pelican.

    Das Haus wird aktuell renoviert !? Es war bei unserer Ankunft sehr staubig und dreckig im gesamten Haus und auf der Terrasse.

    Die Garage war komplett nicht nutzbar, sie war total voll gestellt mit Baugerätem und Müll. Auf Nachfrage kam nur lapidar die Antwort vom Inhaber: „das ist eben so aktuell!“

    Der Besitzer wohnt nicht vor Ort. Wir haben Bilder gemacht und ihn sofort kontaktiert. Am nächsten Tag kam eine kleine Putzkolonne, um das gröbste im Haus und auf der Terrasse zu beseitigen. Die Garage war weiterhin nicht nutzbar.

    Der Pool war nur 68F warm und die Poolheizung hat es erst nach 5 Tagen geschafft, die Temperatur auf ca. 76 - 78F aufzuheizen. Innerhalb der Woche, in welcher wir im Haus waren, kam kein Poolservice, um den Pool zu reinigen.

    Das Haus ist generell schlecht ausgestattet / funktionsfähig:

    - das W-Lan ist sehr langsam und brüchig

    - Es gibt kein Kabel TV

    - Die Terrassentüre vom Master Bedroom war nicht verschliessbar, das Schloss defekt

    - Die Schlafzimmer sind billig ausgestattet, besonders das Master Bedroom hat ein kleines Bett mit harter Matratze und kaputtem Lattenrost

    - Es gab wenig kleine Handtücher

    - Es gab keine Auflagen für die Sonnenliegen

    - Der Eismacher im Kühlschrank funktioniert nicht, wir haben auf unsere Kosten Eis besorgt

    - Die Küche teilweise schlecht ausgestattet - z.B. nur 2 Kaffetassen.

    - Als Patio Tisch dient ein alter Holzschreibtisch

  • Perfect house for a family vacation

    We loved this property! Great location in Cape Coral with great restaurants around. Don’t miss lobster lady! The property was very clean and spacious. The entire house opens up to a beautiful heated pool covered by a lanai. The host Ervin was very easy to work with a responded promptly when/if needed. Good Wi-Fi, keypad entry, great kitchen. We stayed a week and enjoyed our time soaking in the sun at the pool the most!
