• Bugs and a gecko!

  Checked in and there were the so-called sugar ants on the counter and sinks, master bathroom included. There was a small amount left in a large can of Raid ant killer and I sprayed it down the drains and elsewhere. There were also some flying gnats. The first morning I went to the kitchen and there was a gecko on the floor, which I saw for 3 days. Killed 2 roaches in the bedroom over my stay. Owners did send exterminators to the house but they took the side of the owners and reported not seeing hardly anything. Exterminators also came the 2nd time when i was not there and was not notified they were coming, so that was a very bad experience as I had valuable's and cash in the master bedroom. The experience did improve after the exterminators completed both their treatments, But, I don't think that should have been my experience, plus I don't believe I should have paid full price for that bad part (4days) of my stay. Owners say in the booklet that they "love their home", they should visit once in a while and make improvements and updates. There is no baseboard in the kitchen to the right of the sink and stove, that's where the gecko stays and comes out. Not saying it's a horrible place, it would be much more enjoyable if somebody fixed the baseboard and they sprayed on a regular basis. I mean, we pay a lot of money to stay there, the least the owners could do is put a little bit of our hard earned money back into their house!

  Clean and cute home. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Spent most of my time out back. Pool area is peaceful and pretty private. Thank you!

• Wonderful House

  House was great, our kids and ourselves enjoyed the outside area the whole week. A couple things needed that were listed provided but we just purchased the items anyway to use while there. Most Pool toys that were there by the pool were either deflated/holes or wrecked so we set them aside and We got some new ones and left them there also for others. House was great definitely remembering for future use.
