  • Great place and allow short term stay

    5/5

Had business on Cape Coral and needed a place to stay for a few days. Much happier to stay in a VRBO than a hotel and this one was great.

  • What more could go wrong?

    3/5

Upon the arrival, the yard was not cut, garbage can out front was full, the WiFi was out for 24hr and was asked by the property manager to stay there the bext day until a Spectrum service rep came for repairs- we declined so she finally met him at the house, turns out it was an old router that had to be replaced. Then the water pump pressure valve went out during the night at 3am and experienced pipe banging for over 3 hours. It was so loud we had to move to another room to sleep. The property manager sent a handy man over, which we had to wait for over 2 hours (remember this was our vacation time!) He replaced the water valve & bladder. He also noticed the salt water conditioner was low and said that's why the drinking water and ice was undrinkable- too much salt. We had to buy water and ice during our stay for drinking AND cooking. There we no knives to cut our grilled streaks. There we no wine glasses either. Overlooking the backyard, the fences were broken and many sections had thick green mold. Will not rent here again!

    Manager's Response:

Hi Thomas, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
    - We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. We strive to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance.
    - Regarding the grass, we maintain a regular cutting schedule, but as mentioned, the frequent rains in Florida can accelerate growth unexpectedly. The soil and ditches at this property were still filled with water and cutting them can lead to damaging equipment. Once we received your comment, we quickly sent out lawn care professionals to help maintain the yard to your preference. We appreciate your understanding of this natural challenge.
    - We understand the frustration of not having Wi-Fi access and apologize for the 24-hour wait. Our team worked diligently to restore the service as quickly as possible. We were notified around 7 PM of your struggles to gain access to the Wi-Fi. We immediately notified the Internet Company of your situation. We rebooted the system, and the problem was not corrected. Florida requires licensed professionals to work on Wi-Fi Routers, my team proposed the first available time that the Wi-Fi company could come work on the system but you declined and requested I needed to be there so the time was moved back by 2 hours so I could attend.
    - The issue with the water pump was unfortunate, and we’re sorry for the disturbance it caused. Our plumber was dispatched immediately upon notification and resolved the problem within two hours, which is a testament to our commitment to prompt service. The banging sound is unfortunate and I apologize you had to withstand that, there were no previous complaints about the situation and no signs that the water pump would go out so we could not have prepared for these events.
    - For the tap water, it’s indeed common in Florida to recommend against drinking from septic systems due to safety concerns. We apologize if this was not communicated effectively, and we will ensure to provide clear guidance for future guests.
    - We are addressing the lack of kitchen knives and the condition of the backyard fence as a matter of urgency. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve.
Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

  • Wonderful family gathering place

    5/5

This property was absolutely fantastic. We have an adult daughter and adult son and a dog. The location offered fenced and backyard so he could run free outdoor sitting space for evening, conversations, and games and privacy in our own separate bedrooms. It’s clean and nice. Missing some kitchen essentials as I think it’s newer owners but we made it!
