  Good stay. Good price for the area. Peaceful neighborhood. Nice pool.

  Location, unfortunately, is not within walking distance of the beach. The house is probably 4 to 5 miles to the nearest Gulf Beach. Living quarters were very clean and comfortable.

  There is only 1 television, located in the sunroom. This made it difficult for 2 couples. Daytime viewing was also difficult, as there are no blinds or shades for the windows.

  The air conditioning was governed, since some renters, I’m sure, do not know how to manage a/c in Florida. The ceiling fans were helpful, but replaced overhead lighting, which would have been handy for entering darker rooms after sunset. We also had to supplement with our own fans, which luckily we had remembered to bring. Another issue related to the a/c is the lack of doors in areas which require less cooling, particularly the master bedroom closet. These open areas only made the living areas hotter. The kitchen is modern and well supplied equipment-wise.

  We did especially like the use of the garage. This is the first rental that has allowed us this privilege.

  Another plus is the pool and pool area. Conveniently located and the lanai was very comfortable. Some of the other properties we have used in the area on previous stays have offered more in the way of beach supplies, so be sure to bring your own umbrellas, etc.

  All in all, a good value for the fee.

  - The A/C is set to hold at 72° to keep the home consistently comfortable while helping manage energy use and keep accommodations affordable for guests. The open-concept layout doesn’t allow for additional doors, but ceiling fans are provided to help with airflow throughout the space.
  - The home includes one television located in the sunroom, as listed. The owner will consider your feedback on how to improve daytime viewing.
  - The property is within walking distance of the Manatee Ave causeway, which offers water access and scenic views. For visits to the Gulf beaches just a few miles away, the home is stocked with beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards for guest use.

• Arkansas couple!

  Our trip was 18 days and we thoroughly enjoyed the home and it's location. It is an ideal home, well kept and extremely comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very helpful and available to answer questions. Our only criticism is that although the house had a beautiful pool it is unheated. Had it been heated it would have made a our trip even more wonderful.

• Could Have Stayed Forever

  We loved the property and the house. I liked having the garage for my car. The kitchen was very nice. We cooked most of our meals. We truly enjoyed the TV room. We spent most of our time in there. But that pool!!! It was amazing. We liked having a private pool that we could get in anytime. The outdoor space was beautiful and well kept. We drove to a couple different beaches and they weren't far at all. This worked out perfectly for us and we will definitely return. We hope there was no damage from Helene who arrive just after us.

• Great location

  Nice property located near the beautiful Portosueno park with the lovely manatees. The house is well equiped however a net around the pool is necessary to keep the mosquitoes away at night.

If I had been informed, I would have responded and called in someone to take care of this immediately. Pool door lock replaced. Front door lock is new. Thank you for visiting."
