Quiet & Cozy

Less than ideal
3/5 The house was well equipped for our needs and comfortably furnished. However the air conditioning was very loud, we had a problem with the bathroom door and water, which was quickly resolved. However we saw at least 1 mouse and ants in every room that got into our food.

Hi Mary Lou, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
- We appreciate your positive comments about the house being well-equipped and comfortably furnished
- The noise from the A/C unit is something we cannot change, but we understand it can be disruptive
- The bathroom door issue was promptly resolved - it was locked from the inside, possibly by the cleaning service
- The water pump was fixed immediately by turning it on at the breaker
- We're aware of the pest issues you mentioned. The high temperatures have contributed to this problem, and we called an exterminator right away. They fumigated and are continuously monitoring the situation. The mouse issue has been addressed, and we expect it to be resolved

5/5 We have a great stay at this house. Rooms on both ends of the house made for enough space for everyone to relax in their rooms after a day of exploration. Living room, kitchen and dining room in the middle of the house plus a nice big sun porch. House was clean and well stocked kitchen. Kids had their own bathroom while I had mine which made for getting ready easier. Lewes beach, Fort Miles (WW2 battery) and Rehoboth Boardwalk/beach all about 20 minutes away. Fun mini golf, go karts and water park all about 10 minutes away. Rehoboth Boardwalk and Fort Miles were our favorites. Would highly recommend.
