Lewes Beach Condo w/ Pool Access: 4 Mi to Coast

  We booked this property at the last minute and ignored the reviews. Do not ignore the reviews. The condo was in nice quiet complex but the owners clearly are not concerned with presentation. Starting at the front door. The mat outside the front door looked like it was 10 years old. A $10 investment could have remedied that. The kitchen cabinets had random items all over the place. It was requested at checkout to dispose of all food but there was an entire cabinet filled with half used food items. The laundry room looked like a garbage closet filled with random boxes and old shoes on a shelving unit. A washer/dryer was advertised and the dryer has clearly not been working for long time which basically deems the washer unusable. The bathrooms had hair in the showers and both shower curtains had orange mold on them. The master bedroom closet was locked but there was a light inside the closet that went on and off all day and night. it wasn’t clear whether the bedding was actually cleaned. Not new looking, all beds sloppily made upon arrival. The back patio area was so full of pollen, dead bugs, and spider eggs. It took me about 40 minutes to sweep it out and wipe off the pollen that was on the two Adirondack chairs. You could barely get out of the screen door on the patio because the plants were completely overgrown. If anyone took maybe 2 hours a month to maintain this property it really could be nice. Great location poor property maintenance. Super disappointed.

  - The cabinets are meant to be organized with items that may be needed during a guest's stay. We may have accumulated some items that have been left behind and they were not thrown away. We will have the cleaning crew go through the cabinets and get rid of any items that were partially used and arrange and clean them. Thank you for bringing this to our attention
  - We were not aware of any dryer issues but will look into this and get it taken care of
  - Because we are an outdoor beach town without a closed covered entrance things get worn faster than usual because of severe weather changes including dust, pollen and for some reason they collect in the outdoor patio faster. We will make note of the fact for a more thorough cleaning to try and remedy this
  - Regarding the laundry room, there are some personal items from the homeowner who left some shoes and boxes behind in areas not directly in use for the guests on shelving units. We did not feel this would be a bother because there are plenty of spaces for the guests to use
  - We take cleanliness very seriously and will share your comments with the cleaners so that they can pay special attention to the bedding, bathrooms, and shower curtains. We have not had any issues with things not being clean and sanitized for our guests in the past
  - We will look into the light in the master bedroom closet we're not sure why it would go on and off on its own
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

  Decent and quiet neighborhood. Great location, close to trail for biking, walking. Nice bakery nearby for coffee and pastries. Not far from beaches, shopping and dining out. Overall my family enjoyed our stay.

• Good condo

  We enjoyed our stay. This property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, not far from the beaches and other sightseeing options, like the Nassau vineyard. For outdoorsy people, the nearby Georgetown Lewes trail is awesome for biking, walking or running. Nearby Old World bakery comes handy for that early morning coffee and delicious pastries.

  My family enjoyed our stay and may be coming back sometime.

  The place needed to be cleaned of ants, spiders, and bugs upon arrival. Cobwebs and dirt everywhere. The lint trap of drier was clogged and unable to use until unclogged. No trash bags, dish cloth, or simple necessities provided. When contacting the owner it is not the owner but the cleaning person who would not help and stated to contact evolve to resolve all issues.
