  This was the worst VRBO stay ever. House was filthy, beds were hard, dryer didn’t work, roof leaked when it rained, they claim to offer towels n linens, but we didn’t have enough towels, plus no wash clothes or hand towels. No dish towels. It was just an overall terrible stay. An the host (evolve) does not respond or answer email. Pretty much everything in this listing was incorrect.

  I don't usually leave reviews unless it is a spectacular experience or a terrible experience. This was definitely the latter. We came to town for the annual Jeep Invasion. After paying for what amounted to a mortgage payment for 4 night's stay, we expected nice, comfortable accommodations. We arrived on Wednesday evening after a day of travel, looking forward to a shower and a good night's rest. We found that there were NO bath towels in the entire house. We contacted the owner and were informed that there would be some dropped off ASAP. When none showed up contacted them again on Thursday, with no answer. All the beds were horrible and felt like you were sleeping on a sheet of plywood. The home feels neglected and the front door is rotted and barely hanging on the hinges. The home has very dated decor, but it would be fine if it were comfortable. Cell phone service is poor, but that would be ok if the internet or wifi was ok, but it was worse than the cell. Do not expect to get any work done via the internet if you stay there. I have stayed at $50 per night roadside motels which gave us a better experience. 100% do not recommend.

  -Unfortunately, this is the first time we are hearing about the lack of towels at the house. This is unacceptable because we understand guests are looking for a comfortable stay after driving all day to reach their destination. This caught us off guard since the house should always be stocked with towels. We are sorry for how this inconvenienced you, and as a result, we will be having a critical discussion with our management and cleaning service to ensure that this will not be a recurring issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
  -While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. We will consider your feedback for future updates.
  -As for the decor, we use professional photographers to ensure our images accurately reflect each property and guests can decide before booking if the decor meets their expectations.
  -We believe that the internet connection is usually more consistent but it is good to know that this is a potential area of improvement. We will look into this matter and address it appropriately.

• No Wi-Fi broken dryer

  No Wi-Fi so no phone service. Difficult to communicate with anyone outside of the house. Broken dryer so could not wash anything

  We stayed at this property in 2019 and again in 2020. There were issues with the house back in 2019 that we thought was normal wear and tear however upon returning this year we found all the same issues and more. Furniture is old and most of it is broke. Their isn't very many comfortable places to sit. A lot of ants and cobwebs everywhere. Don't look under the couches or beds they have never been cleaned. A/C was broke for half our trip in 2019 and there was no attempt made to give us some compensation. This year it worked but barely. The dryer sounds like a motorcycle when turned on. Leaky ceilings and water stains on ceilings. Master bedroom shower doors falling off and don't you dare grab the handle in the shower cus one of my family members did and they nearly fell had hurt themselves as the handle was not secured and pulled out of the wall with little effort. Broken doors broken moldings broken and old beds all in all very run down. No and I mean No internet or phone service. And to top it off they way over charge you for this neglected property. Oh and we had some guy come to the property looking for the homeowner to speak to them about a lawsuit concern info the roofs. Both evolve and VRBO should reconsider listing this property. Again DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

  Michael, the homeowner would like to pass along the following message:
  "Since you stayed there last year, there have been several major improvements, including the two airconditioning units being replaced, brand new pillows, etc. The air was at 72 degrees the day before you checked in. There is a new gas grill, so no more having to worry about charcoal. In addition, the whole house was washed for better appearance and cleanliness, and it was also sprayed from the outside for pests. There were other furniture upgrades planned, but with the closure of the state of Delaware, we had no time to do that. Any broken furniture is mostly due to tenant misuse. The master shower was inspected, and it was off the track, which was easily fixed. The cleaning person is the same one who does all Evolve rentals in our area; if there is a cleaning issue then we have to take it up with her. I want to assure you, Michael, that if you stay there another season you are going to see more improvements to the property. Thanks for your comments."

  We stayed here in 2019 and they're saying again in 2020. This place was very nice quiet secluded and we find it very appealing for our family we hope to stay here many years to come To was he negative reviewers if you're looking for something else then go somewhere else if you're looking something quiet peaceful short drive to the beach and everything else this is a place for you.
