The house had potential and the location was beautiful. The deck and hot tub were nice, but beyond that the place was disgusting. We spent the first hour or more cleaning. There were bugs and cobwebs everywhere and every surface had a thick layer of dust. We cleaned dishes by hand with what little dish soap there was and stacked everything we were going to use on the counter because the cabinets were too gross to put the dishes back in to. The light above the stove was covered in grease with dead bugs stuck it. Walking through the house upon arrival, especially the basement resulted in our legs being covered in cobwebs. There were several light bulbs out which not only made the place feel worse, it was also a nuisance trying to eat supper in the dim lighting. It was so bad that our kids began to joke "was that a blueberry or a bug I just picked up off the floor?" We spent 30min just washing one of the three nasty coffee makers to try to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. We were short paper towels and ended our stay sharing toilet paper between the basement and upstairs bathroom. The basement shower dripped all night and barely drained when showering leaving you standing in dirty water up to your calves. When we reached out to the contacts using multiple methods, we got no response until after we left. The manager was out camping apparently. We did receive a refund for one night's stay, which was a fraction of what the cleaning and management fee were.

Wonderful long weekend! View is fabulous, hot tub was great. House was clean, but an eclectic layout. Justin was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately, our stay at this property was disappointing due to several issues that impacted our comfort and overall experience.
To begin with, the house was not clean upon arrival. There was visible dirt on the floor and dust on furniture and bunk beds, which made the place feel neglected. We also noticed spider webs throughout various areas of the house, adding to the sense that it had not been properly prepared for guests.
There were not enough towels provided for our group, and the contact person we were given was unhelpful and unresponsive. We ended up washing the few towels ourselves and reusing them for the entire stay. Despite requesting a cleaning service, no one ever came.
The upstairs bathroom had a very odd and impractical layout. There was no door separating the shower from the master bedroom, which made privacy impossible. This meant that anyone needing to use the shower forced those staying in the bedroom to leave. The toilet door knob was also broken, so it wouldn’t close properly, requiring someone to physically hold it shut—an uncomfortable and inconvenient situation.
To add to the discomfort, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the house became hot, especially during the night. This made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably.
In summary, the property suffered from poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and a lack of support from the host. It may not be a good choice for larger groups or anyone expecting a well-maintained and comfortable rental.
Great stay perfect location great views
