  • Cross Country Skiing

    5/5

We enjoyed our stay. Close to several X Country Nordic Centers.

The skiing was great and the Mountain Views were beautiful.

Can't wait to stay there again!

  • Lacking But OK

    4/5

My husband and I went up for a Friday and Saturday evening to just get away from the city and relax. There were a lot of units I could’ve chosen from, but I liked the interior, rustic look of this one. The downside is it’s on the main level and the upside is it’s on the main level. I wish I would’ve looked a little further and found something with a little bit better scenery out of the window and off of the patio. Also I would have chosen an upper floor just for privacy sake. The unit was really close to the maintenance garage and dumpsters which wasn’t terrific. The layout of the furniture was odd in that the only way to watch television was by sitting on the bed even though there was a large sofa. It’s not as though we sat and watched TV the whole time but turning on a good movie is nice at night but the sofa was literally on the same wall as the television. This was super uncomfortable and inconvenient. Clearly this unit is for more than 2 people and it’s more about keeping it folded out for somebody to sleep on the whole time. I should have paid more attention to the photos. Maybe consider a different way to lay out the room for only two people. Just a few suggestions for future renters: be sure to have enough hand soap, and dish soap in the unit, because there was very little. We had to purchase some just to be sure we had enough to get us through the weekend. Of course we could have called someone but that seemed like a lot of trouble and I would expect that the soap would be refilled enough in between renters to make sure that it would not run out. No dishwasher. Also, it would be nice for future renters to know that if they’re going to bring coffee, it requires K cups and not ground coffee. Also, seems like a small thing and one of my pet peeves but when we’re paying a cleaning fee and service fees, etc. stripping the beds and taking out trash and basically doing a lot of prep work for someone to clean the unit is irritating. Most of these things we didn’t even know about until we had already paid for the unit; had I known them ahead of time I probably would have chosen differently. Just simple things but we did pay decent money to stay there. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and it was a nice getaway.
